A larger truth.  Our service has never been limited by the walls of our building or the borders of our property. Since the Laurrapin exists within the context of a larger Havre de Grace Community, we have always reached out into our city to serve. We ask you to join us in support of local farmers, artists, musicians, educators, environmental projects, the poor and homeless.  Our community mission is to move people toward a vision of involvement and service.

Our chefs and staff are involved in raising funds all year long for causes supporting our community including fundraisers for Havre de Grace Arts Commission, the Lockhouse Museum and support of our local schools.  All of us at the Laurrapin are involved and committed to Harford Hospice, a non-profit organization providing physical, psychological and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families.

In addition, we are committed to changing our business practices to become more environmentally responsible.  We are currently purchasing 100 % renewable energy for our electric consumption and our disposable products are made from biodegradable and recycled materials.

Havre de Grace is our community and we are dedicated to making it a better place to live!

On behalf of Moveable Feast's Board of Directors I would like to personally thank you for Laurrapin Grille's participation in Dining Out for Life and our appreciation of your generous donation as a result of the event. As a restaurateur you know so well what an important part a good meal is to one's enjoyment. For Moveable Feast clients nutritious meals are a key part of fighting severe illness. Your willingness to partner in this event shows admirable dedication to our community, helping to improve the quality of life for those in need. Thanks for being part of the fight. Executive Director Tom Bonderenko, Moveable Feast

Thank you for your tremendous leadership and work as part of the 2010 Regatta Committee and Chair of the Hospitality Committee (Harford Hospice). I have heard repeatedly from many of our supporters and guests who attended the event this year that this was the best Regatta ever! The Foundation team tells me that we have surpassed our net goal of $75,000. I know this would not have been possible without your help. Again, on behalf of Upper Chesapeake Health and the Foundation Board, please know how much we truly appreciate your help. President/CEO Lyle Sheldon, Upper Chesapeake Health

Thank you again for all you did to make this year's Red Pump Ball a success! The food was superb, the best ever. Your staff attended to every detail. The good news is we netted $10,000, doubling last year and reduced our cost by 8% (to benefit Upper Chesapeake Health's Cardiovascular Programs). Its always a pleasure working with you. Gift Officer Donna Tower Lenzner, Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation

There is no way I can thank you enough for all that you have done for Arts By the Bay Gallery. Director Pat Fair, Arts By the Bay Gallery

These letters of thanks to you have become a routine event, but the sincere appreciation in them never wanes. You were right there with us again - this time for the Third Annual Pirate Gala. The increased success with this year's event can be directly attributed to many of the suggestions you made...Even though we know we can always count on you , please know we will never take you for granted. I tell everyone that if there were a definition for "Friends of the Lock House", your picture would right beside it. President of Board of Directors Charles Vasilakis, Susquehanna Museum

It is because of the generosity of people and companies like yours, that dedicate your time and resources to the community that our children get an opportunity to see and appreciate the many different Art and Craft Skills of cultures around the world. 2010 Harford Day School Arts Festival Committee, Rusty Pachilis
